Dr. Madhuri Viswanadham is a board-certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is the founder of Dare2Care Pediatrics, an NCQA accredited patient-centered medical home serving Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Cumming, and the greater Atlanta community. Dr. Madhuri is passionate about quality care and making a difference in the lives of the children she serves. She finds true purpose in the connections she forms with each family. It is common for families to drive long distances to bring their children to Dr. Madhuri, as her practice of medicine is characterized by authenticity and love.

Dr. Madhuri, a natural empath, demonstrates immense patience and compassion, truly understanding children and parents. She approaches her practice of medicine with a colorful and charismatic style and is known for being imaginative, playful, and deeply connected to her patients and the stories in the chapters of their lives. Dr. Madhuri fosters a space of safety for her patients to laugh, cry, scream, explore, play, and learn as they grow. Additionally, she shoulders the worries, fears, and burdens of parents as they journey through parenthood.

Dr. Madhuri loves assisting parents in understanding how to learn and grow in their parenting experiences from pregnancy to birth and infancy, through the “terrific” twos and threes of toddlerhood, across the bridge of preschool and early school years, along the roller coaster of pre-teen and teen years into the transition to adulthood. Cherishing moments such as baby smiles and giggles, curious questions of toddlers, creative views of school-age children, and the honesty of teens, she takes pride in having helped numerous children and parents evolve from tiny human souls into capable and confident young adults.

A strong advocate of preventative medicine and evidence-based early intervention, Dr. Madhuri makes it her mission to educate, empower, encourage, and advocate for all her patients. She teaches families how to navigate complex hurdles in health and strive towards improving overall well-being. Her vision is to treat every child entering her medical home with the utmost respect, be honored with adequate time to discuss their care, be given equal opportunity to collaborate and express concerns and ensure a safe space to learn and grow throughout life.

Embarking on her career as a pediatrician, Dr. Madhuri spent the first decade in a primarily Hispanic and underserved community, attaining fluency in Spanish and establishing long-lasting connections with those children, caring for them into adulthood and their parenthood. One of the most challenging and eye-opening chapters in her career was the 5 years Dr. Madhuri served as a consulting pediatrician for children in foster care within community behavioral health. She gained insights into the treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders during her years of service to those children.

Over the past two decades, Dr. Madhuri has developed a niche in her pediatrics practice for helping children with complex developmental and mental health needs. She has completed additional certification and ongoing continued medical education in behavioral and developmental health through the REACH program and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s ECHO programs. Dr. Madhuri is an advocate of early literacy and proudly reads books from her Reach Out and Read library as she gifts them to each child during their visits. Parents have often dubbed Dr. Madhuri the “baby whisperer” as she can sing a lullaby and calm a baby with ease.
